These works are an exploration of the exchange of meaningful imagery and dialogue between individuals and environment. While engaging with the community and exploring a series of questions and stories about what constitutes meaningful imagery, I found a more organic introduction to the history of place and person through the process of these socially engaged art practices. This exchange brought forth the notion of being "rooted" in a particular environment.
